Quick tip on the front brake lever light switch on the Sportster Iron. There's a lot of confusion on the forums, and I struggled with it for a while before figuring it out.
The switch sits in the brake lever housing.

Loosen the screws on the housing, but don't remove them.
Remove the brake lever. Loosen the 10mm nut underneath first, then unscrew the pivot. You may need pliers to pull it the rest of the way.

Slide the switch as close as you can and tighten the top screw down first, all the way. The forums say don't over-tighten. I tightened it as much as I could. There's a tab behind it you can lock into place.
Lever back in, pivot back in, nut back on.

It can still stick occasionally if you hit the lever over and over. Normal riding, it should be fine.
