Update on the GoPro Hero after testing it on the bike.
The longest test run was about an hour 10 to an hour 20 minutes.
It's like the Hero 11 but stripped down. No live streaming. It has cloud uploading, and I've got a 512GB SD card in it.
What needs fixing before I use it more:
The battery door. No pass-through charging while recording. I'm thinking a Hero 11 Mini door might fit.
Move the camera up a little.
A mic inside the helmet, so you hear me instead of wind noise.
A decent battery bank inside my vest, with a cord to the camera, so I can record longer rides.
None of that is done yet. These are plans.
